RULES:  Play the ball as it lies..."Don't touch it" unless instructed by Golf Shop.

RULES COMMITTEE:  OV Golf Shop

LOST BALL:  If a ball is lost outside a water hazard, the player shall play a ball under penalty of one stroke, as nearly as possible from the area where the ball was lost.

OUT OF BOUNDS:  A ball is out of bounds if it is in a parking lot or on or over roadways (paved or unpaved).  If the ball is out of bounds, the player shall play a ball under penalty of one stroke, as nearly as possible at the spot from which the original ball was played.  (Example:  If out of bounds from the tee, player must hit another ball from the tee area and this is his/her third stroke):  white stakes.

WATER HAZARDS:  All water hazards are to be treated as "lateral water hazards".  The boundaries (margins) of a water hazard are the water lines unless otherwise marked with red paint.  If a ball is in a water hazard, the player may either play the ball as it lies or under penalty of one stroke:  red stakes.

A.  Play the next stroke as nearly as possible at the spot from which the original ball was last played......OR

B.  Drop a ball behind the water hazard, keeping the point at which the original ball last crossed the margin of the water hazard directly between the hole and the spot on which the ball is dropped with no limit as to how far behind the water hazard the ball may be dropped......OR

C.  Drop a ball outside the water hazard within two club lengths of the point where the original ball last crossed the margin of the water hazard.  The ball must be dropped and come to rest not nearer the hole than the point the original ball last crossed the margin of the water hazard.

BALL IN LANDSCAPING AROUND BUILDINGS:  If a ball lies in or on the shrubbery or ground cover up against the buildings (including the garages to the left of the 1st hole) or so close to the landscaping that the landscaping interferes with the players stance or intended swing, the player may obtain relief without penalty by dropping the ball within one club length of full relief, no nearer the pin.  There is no relief from plantings or shrubs outside the foundation area of the buildings.  A penalty stroke is incurred when moving any ball from these areas.

If your ball is lost in this or any landscaping, you must follow the above procedure for "LOST BALL".
